The Brothers’ War – Everything We Know So Far

The war between Urza and Mishra is almost as old as Magic: The Gathering itself. Now, this Fall, we return to the Legendary conflict with a brand new set simply titled, “The Brothers’ War. This time around we’ll play through key moments of the cataclysmic battle and get a look at the massive robots and machines that the war was waged with. The release is still a bit distant but there is still a ton of key info to go over. So, let’s jump right into all the info.

The Brothers’ War releases on November 18th. It will continue the story that started in Dominaria United and will showcase the conflict between Urza and his brother Mishra. The set will contain Draft, Set, and Collector Boosters. As well as commander decks and jumpstart boosters as well.

Their story is one of the most iconic in MTG history and I expect this set to live up to that hype. “Back In Time” Retro Artifacts

The set takes players back in time to some of MTG’s earliest events. And these conflicts have also revolved heavily around artifacts. So, Wizards of the Coast are releasing a set of retro-themed artifacts stretching the entirety of Magic history.

Each artifact in this series comes with a set symbol unique to the retro artifact series and new “schematic” style art. Furthermore, only 500 of each retro schematic will be printed. For the first time ever, each one will be numbered with a serial number, so that players know how many exist and exactly which ones they have.

These will come in something called “double rainbow foiling” and will only come in Collector Boosters. below is a look at the set symbol for the “Back In Time” series and the cards we’ve seen so far.

I started playing Magic in 2015. I love all formats but I particularly love to play and build decks in modern. Pretty much every part of my life has been influenced by Magic in some way or another. It is something I am very passionate about. RIP Simian Spirit Guide.
