The wild card system is Magic: the Gathering Area’s version of trading. Wildcards are digital objects that you trade in for a card of the same rarity. They can be obtained by playing games, opening packs, and completing tasks. With that said, it can be time-consuming to earn enough wildcards to build a competitive deck. However, there is an easier alternative to this blue-collar approach and that is using MTG arena codes to get free stuff. Let’s look at what they are and how they work.
Arena codes are digital codes that can be entered into arena and redeemed for free stuff. This includes things like cosmetic skins for your cards, XP, free cards, and booster packs.
Opening packs and gaining XP are the quickest ways to acquire wildcards to build your decks with. Therefore, free packs from arena codes can be an invaluable resource for saving time and effort while brewing decks on arena.
The concept is pretty straightforward. However, there are quite a few common questions and/or issues that people tend to have when it comes to using their codes. This includes things like how to redeem your codes online and on mobile, if/when codes expire and where you can get them. Let’s take a look at everything you need to know, as well as a complete list of the codes themselves.
How Do I Get Free Items In MTG Arena?
As mentioned above, the easiest and really only way, to get free items for arena is by using codes. They are redeemed for things like free cards, free booster packs, experience points, or cosmetic skins for your cards.

Cosmetic Codes
Adding new cards to your arena collection is always nice. However, having cards that look just like everyone else’s can be a bit boring. So, arena uses cosmetic skins to mix things up and allow players to customize the way their cards look to some degree.
